LITERACY CENTERS AND ACTIVITIES:
“My Turkey’s Feathers Are…” Easy Reader (2 levels) – Print a simple label style version or one with a predictable sentence pattern. Copy two-sided and cut in half for two books!
“Life Cycle of a Turkey” Easy Reader (2 books ) – Print the color version to read with your students or the black and white for them to color and take home! Copy two-sided and cut in half for two books!
Turkey Tracers – Pick a turkey card and say the letter name. Find and trace its match. 2 versions (upper and lowercase) included.
Oh, My…Pumpkin Pie! – Pick a pumpkin pie card and say the picture name. Color a piece of pie with the matching beginning sound. 2 versions included (one with the correct letter shown on the picture for assistance).
Rhyming Pumpkin Pies – Match up the pumpkin pie halves to their rhymes like a puzzle (16 rhyming sets).
Sight Word Pumpkin Pie (Editable!) – Use the whipped cream letters to spell the sight words on the pumpkin pies.
MATH CENTERS AND ACTIVITIES:
Turkey Count and Clip Cards – Clip the total of pumpkin pie pieces shown in the 10 and 20 frames held by the turkeys.
Corn Counting (2 levels) – Pick a card and count the corn. Color the corn with the matching number. (Second level uses teen numbers and counts base 10 blocks).
Gobbling Up Addition Facts (2 levels) – Pick a turkey card and solve the addition fact. Color a feather with the answer (addition to 5 and addition to 10).
Gobbling Up Subtraction Facts (2 levels) – Pick a pumpkin pie card and solve the subtraction fact. Color a piece of pie with the answer (subtraction within 5 and within 10).
Thanksgiving Dinner Roll and Graph – Roll the die. Color a space above the item you roll on the graph. See which one gets to the top first! *Inserts included if you use your own plastic sleeve dice.
Black and White Copies of color items are included at the end of the file.
