LITERACY CENTERS AND ACTIVITIES:

ABC Clip Cards (2 levels) – Clip the letter that matches the letter shown. (Uppercase to Uppercase matching, and Uppercase to Lowercase matching options).

“I Can Play!” Easy Reader (2 levels) – Print a simple label style version, or one with a predictable sentence pattern. Copy two-sided and cut in half for two books!

Baseball Beginning Sound Puzzles (2 levels) – Match up the baseball letters with their mitts by identifying the beginning sounds of the pictures. (2 options – one contains letters on both sides of the puzzle for assistance and self-correcting).

Batter Up! – Pick a baseball card and read the letter. Find and trace its match. *Both upper and lowercase letter options included.

Pre-Writing Tracing Strips – Trace the lines from each matching sports item. Can laminate and use with a dry erase marker, or use black and white copies for tracing/pre-writing pencil practice.

Alphabet Tracing Strips – Trace the letters from each matching sports item. Can laminate and use with a dry erase marker, or use black and white copies for handwriting practice. * Both uppercase and lowercase letters are included.

Sight Word Strike (Editable!) – Build the sight words on the bowling balls using the alphabet bowling pins. Record some of the words you make by writing them on the bowling balls on the recording sheet.

Dunk the Digraph (2 levels) – Pick a basketball hoop card and look at the picture. Find and color a basketball with the beginning digraph sound. (2 options, one contains the digraphs written on the picture card for assistance or to make it a matching game to learn the sounds instead.)

Sports Equipment Write It (Write the Room) – Pick a card (sports themed). Find and record the word next to its matching picture on the recording sheet. * Also includes a coloring version (no writing required, color the matching sports equipment).

MATH CENTERS AND ACTIVITIES:

Referee Tally Mark Clip Cards – Count the tally marks and clip the total (tally marks to 20).

Referee Base 10 Block Clip Cards – Count the base 10 blocks and clip the total (base 10 blocks to 20).

Sports Roll and Graph – Roll the die. Color a space above the sports equipment you roll on the graph below. See which one gets to the top first! *Inserts included if you use your own plastic sleeve dice.

Goal! For 10 frames – Pick a card and read the ten frame. Color the hockey puck with the number that matches.

Goal! For 20 frames – Pick a card and read the twenty frame. Color the hockey puck with the number that matches.

Sports Equipment Count It! (2 levels) – Pick a card and count the objects. Record how many of each object in the boxes. Can play with numbers 1-10 or 11-20.

Sports Equipment Add it Up – Pick a card and solve the addition problem. Record the problem in the boxes below (addition to 10).

Sports Equipment Subtract It – Pick a card and solve the subtraction problem. Record the problem in the boxes below (subtraction within 10).

Counting Cards – Laminate and use with a dry erase marker. Count the objects and write the total in the box (sets to 12).

Addition Cards – Laminate and use with a dry erase marker. Write the equation and solve to show how many items (beginning addition to 10).

Subtraction Cards – Laminate and use with a dry erase marker. Write the equation and solve to show how many items (beginning subtraction within 10).

Football Addition Sort – Print and laminate the football equations and the cheerleader/football player answer mats. Sort the sums underneath their answers. (Addition to 10)

Football Subtraction Sort – Print and laminate the football equations and the cheerleader/football player answer mats. Sort the sums underneath their answers. (Subtraction Within 6)

Black and White Copies of color items are included at the end of the file.
