My kids always go crazy for anything to do with space and being astronauts, so it was an easy choice for our letter S craft to incorporate stars.

The hardest thing about this craft was tracking down those star stickers – they used to available everywhere, a teacher’s staple, but I had to go to a few different stores just to find ours so if you’re placing an online order anytime soon – I’d definitely save yourself the trouble.

Letter S Craft – S is for Star Craft

First, gather your materials:

Using the scissors, cut out at least one “S” shape for each child.

Place the paint in containers and give each child a letter and a sheet of stickers. (My tip for easy sticker removal is to remove the background sticker that tends to surround the shapes.)

Have the kids place their star stickers all over their letters and then when they are done, have them dab a light amount of paint on top of the stickers.

Let the paint dry and then use those fine motor muscles to remove the stickers. What you are left with almost looks like glowing star outlines.
